My Name is Jess Cameron and I am the Training and Assessment Manager at The Hub Preschool and Early Education Academy.

I am responsible for overseeing all School-Based Trainees, Certificate III, and Diploma Trainees. I collaborate closely with The International Child Care College to ensure comprehensive support for all students as they navigate their paths of professional development.

SBATs (School Based Apprenticeships and traineeship)

This unique opportunity allows you to pursue a CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care during your HSC while gaining valuable hands-on experience in one of The Hub’s many services.

• Flexible Schedule: You will work one day per week (paid) within one of The Hub’s services and attend school for four days, the perfect balance!
• HSC Credits: An SBAT is equivalent to four HSC units in year 11 and four HSC units in year 12, helping you accelerate your academic progress.
• Paid Work Experience: You will be paid to work within an Early Education setting, whilst completing the workplace components of your qualification.
• Career Readiness: Graduate with both hands-on experience, your HSC and a nationally recognised qualification, setting you on the path to success.
• Real-World Experience: Gain practical skills through on-the-job training within our dynamic learning environments.
